Description
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy.
Supervises physical therapy assistant.
Qualifications
Minimum Education : Doctorate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited program. Required Skills : Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Licenses / Certifications : Current licensure in the state of Tennessee for Physical Therapy.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
