As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Caterpillar, you will coordinate staffing processes for assigned scope (business unit/country/location and/or function), configure critical reports and work with hiring manager(s) to understand staffing needs, review/create requisitions and discuss potential sourcing strategy.Role Definition Ensures all responsibilities within the hiring and onboarding processes are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with country-specific governmental regulations and professional standards and practices. Recruits qualified applicants according to workforce needs.What You Will Do:
Work with TA Partner recruitment and hiring plans for early career aligned positions
Ensure the positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity
Provide end to end Recruitment Coordination services to the team to manage scheduling interviews, offer paperwork and pre-employment assessments.
Placing advertisements, attending job fairs, and performing other related duties to support recruitment processes
Partnering with TA Partners regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization, leveraging data
Participate in recruitment engagement events / campaigns specifically for hard to fill roles
Utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and industry-leading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles
Contribute towards broader recruiting team projects
Work with candidates on completing background checks, drug tests, and pre-screens.
Manage campus events for the segment, including registration, logistics, and Talent Champion requests
Order, and manage inventory of camps event materials, and giveaways
What You Have:Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing, and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques, and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain, and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decision.Additional Details:
The primary location for this position is Irving, TX or Peoria, IL
This position may require 20% travel.
