COMPENSATION

Starting Pay: $15 per hour + $250 (before taxes) SIGN ON BONUS (after 60 days)!

To qualify for the Sign On Bonus, you must be an active employee for 60 days with no issues related to attendance, worker safety or other disciplinary action.

Shifts Available: Monday thru Friday, 9:30 AM to 8 PM OR Monday thru Friday, 5:30 AM to 4 PM

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for the packaging of quality food products. Will ensure the manufacturing of quality foods and good manufacturing practices (GMP) are followed. Will work as a team player at a variety of work stations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

Assemble and de-assemble various types of equipment (i.e. hopper toppers, depositors, mixers, Vemag, etc.)

Complete all applicable paperwork accurately, timely and completely

Complete tasks in accordance with productivity and quality standards

Follow standard sanitation operation procedures regularly and throughout shift…Clean as you go

Work at different work station/departments as production needs require and must be able to rotate to all position of packaging

Follow food and worker safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Stack products on conveyor line while monitoring the product flow and quality

Push boxes loaded with products through taping machine

Change labels and ribbons according to standard procedures and check for accuracy when line is in motion

Stack labels in the appropriate machines and storage areas

Ensure temperature and weight of product is within acceptable ranges

Mix cream according to specific product formulas (i.e. Kahlua, Smores, etc.)

Move/sling product on the packaging line

Finalize product by reviewing prior to sealing the box

Use proper body mechanics when lifting or moving product/equipment.

Ensure that pallets are accurately entered into Just Foods database system

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year of bakery or production experience recommended

Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)

Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness

Basic math skills

Ability to read, write, and understand English

Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary

Ability to lift up to 20-75 lbs throughout the day

Ability to stand for long hours

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be at least 18 years of age or older to perform the essential functions of the job

Required to present documents verifying employment authorization in the U.S
