The Entry-Level Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment.Responsibilities:
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data, including invoices, expenses, and transactions, into the accounting system.
Invoice Processing: Assist in processing invoices, ensuring proper coding, and verifying accuracy before submission for payment.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Payable Support: Assist in managing accounts payable by verifying and processing invoices, preparing payment batches, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Accounts Receivable Support: Assist in tracking and processing customer payments, preparing invoices, and assisting with collections efforts.
Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic records of financial documents.
Assist in Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of basic financial reports, statements, and summaries as needed.
General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the finance team, including filing, copying, and other clerical tasks.
Learn and Grow: Proactively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of accounting principles, software, and processes.
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or related field is a plus.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
