Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide on-site C-17 company representation and technical support to the team at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington in conjunction with the C-17 Globemaster Integrated Sustainment Partnership (G3) contract.Position Responsibilities:

Utilize multi-disciplined technical expertise and company knowledge to assist the customer.

Sustain a high level of proficiency in the maintenance and operation of company products by investigating technical problems and determining root causes.

Develop and implement corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Understand customer expectations, assist customer in interpreting and using support data and documents, and provide technical on-the-job training.

Act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues.

Work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic environments.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at JB Lewis-McChord, WA.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting C-17A aircraft

Extensive knowledge/understanding of mechanical, environmental, avionics and flight control systems, and electrical/electronic systems

Must be able to function in a demanding on-call, around the clock operational environment

Travel up to 25% to other operating locations to assist with operations, maintenance, and recovery of aircraft will be required

Willing to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting C-17, electrical/electronic, environmental, and avionics systems is preferred

Previous military experience or extensive familiarity with military operations and written maintenance procedures

Experience with C-17 field or depot is preferred

Production Superintendent Experience is desired

Extensive experience using maintenance data collection and analysis (G081) is desired

Extensive knowledge of C-17 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is desired

Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years or related work experience, 10 years or related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
