Staff Accountant

Description Staff Accountant opportunity with a construction company in the Springfield area. The Staff Accountant will primarily be focused on financial statement preparation and consolidation, financial analysis, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing and ad hoc responsibilities. The ideal Staff Accountant will have a minimum of 2+ years of month end close experience and experience working in ERP software. A minimum of a BS degree in Accounting is required while an advanced degree is preferred. BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Recent and relevant accounting experience
