SOME ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively support the Business Unit period end closing controlling activities

Partner with management on financial performance to identify improvement potentials

Analyze, interpret, and comment on operating performance

Drive the ME performance management processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting)

Use available business information tools including Microsoft Excel, Celonis, and SAP analytics Cloud to analyze, interpret, and create reports

Summarize large quantities of statistical and account data into actionable management information

Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliation, including fixed assets, employer’s benefit costs, accruals, prepaid expenses, and recording of recurring, adjusting, and reclassification journal entries, when necessary

Work heavily within the SAP ERP system to identify, analyze, and solve problems

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related financial field

3+ years of experience in accounting/finance within a manufacturing environment

Experience in month end reporting and analytics

Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, ERP skills (SAP, a plus)

Strong critical thinking skills with an eye toward process improvement

Permanent US work authorization
