Cardiac Monitoring Technician FH

US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON -

SITE. FTE: 0.001000 Shift: 4 Schedule: Pick-up 4 - 6 shifts every 6

weeks. Start and end times vary based upon available hours within the

department. Job Summary: Provides continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance

for patients in general care areas and the Emergency Department

requiring telemetry monitoring. Demonstrates ability to identify,

quantify and communicate electrocardiographic patterns and dysrhythmias.

Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent

is required. TRAINING Must complete Basic Rhythm Interpretation Course

and pass associated exam with a score of 95%, or higher, within 90 days

of hire. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Must have the ability to adapt to

change in a fast-paced work environment. Exemplary communication,

telephone etiquette and customer service skills are required. Must

possess analytical skills to gather and interpret routine data. Must be

capable of continuous monitoring of patients, remaining alert at all

times while on duty. Working knowledge of Windows office systems and all
