products and exceptional support. Job Summary: The Senior Manager of

Policy and Regulatory Affairs is a key member in Generac's Energy

Technology Policy and Market Development group. This group is at the

forefront of an exciting period of evolution in the energy industry and

focuses on smart thermostats, batteries, distributed energy resource

management opportunities, manufacturing, and more. The ideal candidate

will be a key partner with business leaders across the Energy Technology

team to identify and craft opportunities to increase adoption of

distributed energy resources while concurrently working to integrate

those resources for individual, community, and regional resilience.

Policies (s)he will focus on include demand flexibility, demand

response, rate design, advanced battery and inverter solutions, home

energy management and smart thermostat deployment, virtual power plants,

electric vehicle charging and other distributed energy resources. S(he)

will be a strong advocate in advancing policies that expand markets for

Energy Technology's applications and products. (S)he will advance our

policy and regulatory strategy to Power a Smarter World before state

public utility commissions, energy offices, legislatures, and other

administrative agencies, while collaborating with clean energy industry

peers, non -profit advocates and other energy policy thought leaders.

Work for this remote role will be focused primarily on the Central and

Northeastern areas of the U.S. Preferable location in the Central or

Northeast regions of the U.S. May require up to 25% travel. Essential

Duties and Responsibilities: Lead policy and regulatory advocacy in key

Central and Northeastern states on priority energy and environmental

issues to expand Generac's impact in delivering clean and resilient

energy solutions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to

determine strategic approaches for influencing and responding to policy

and regulatory requirements and opportunities. Develop strategic

relationships with policymakers and regulatory agencies in key central

and northeast markets. Educate policymakers, regulators and advocates

about Generac's Energy Technology solutions and amplify Generac's

reputation as a leading clean energy solutions provider. Drive For
