Provides supervision and direct care for young adult in a worksite facility. Works to help young adults achieve progress in learning and applying methods to identify and manage in a working environment. Uses appropriate intervention methods in response to how to operate on a job. Work involves facilitating how to operate on a job and coaching their personal development in accordance with individualized plans and reporting daily progress.
SALARY: $15.00 - $17.00 DOE
JOB TYPES: Part-Time (contract) up to 20hrs
SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday
Primary role:
Training and supporting people with disabilities on the job to promote independence
Working in a variety of settings including retail, administrative, clerical, food service or other industries
Qualifications
Maintain a clean fingerprint /criminal background clearance
Driver's License (Required)
US work authorization
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (Preferred)
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, push and lift up to 20 lbs (Required)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for qualified candidates to provide job coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking individuals who are vision focused, team oriented, highly organized, flexible, energetic, self-directed, solution oriented with strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills. You are an ideal candidate if: you have a background in teaching, training, and customer service. No experience necessary, just the right attitude and passion!
COVID-19 considerations: Candidates must follow wear PPE required for the worksite
Support, maintain groups, instruct, and supervise members in their daily activities at all times
A basic knowledge in math, reading, writing and computer skills
On time regular attendance and meet schedules and timelines
Work effectively with individuals with disabilities
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Communicate, read and write in English efficiently both orally and in writing
Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work
Work independently with minimal supervision
Must dress in appropriate and clean attire
Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population
Must exercise good judgment and make competent decisions
Report immediately to your supervisor any incident involving a member
Complete required documentation, including the case notes daily, accurately, and thoroughly and submit on time
Attend and participate in all mandatory training, and staff meetings which may be outside the regular work schedule
Perform all duties to uphold, respect and advocate for the member’s rights
Establish and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships with members of a diverse community, including employers, students/clients, community agencies and state and local government agencies
Observe members daily for any physical changes and signs in behavior or demeanor that could be a result of illness, abuse, improper dressing or grooming, medications, etc. Report any observations to your supervisor
Participate in member assessment, planning and evaluation processes as required
