Description:J OB ANNOUNCEMENTProject CoordinatorChicago Department of AviationReal Estate DivisionNumber of Positions: One (1)Position Overview: Position reports to the Chief Leasing Agent.ESSENTIAL DUTIESWill serve to ensure that Real Estate division team members have the various and required tools and resources they need to complete tasks and projects.Works with team to create project schedules and task list with milestone and tracking mechanism to ensure timely completion.Assist in documenting project and task phase progress, challenges, and resolutions in addition to creating reports for management.Work with Staff assistant to revise, update and track all items on the master task list.Monitor and track any concessions project that impacts real estate tenants and leasehold space (domestic and international).Assist with creation/development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures Manual for Real Estate Division.Assist with creation of full-scale new airport tenant entry handbook that outlines and describes process from start to finishAdditional duties may be required for this position.Location: O’Hare International AirportAddress: 10500 W. Zemke RoadShift: Monday – FridayHours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICEQualifications:MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS : Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Social Sciences, Planning or a related field, supplemented by three years of progressively responsible experience in program administration, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.NOTE: Must be flexible to early and/or late meetings and occasional weekends.NOTE: The candidates selected for hire must pass an airport background check and aSecurity Threat Assessment.NOTE: This position requires a valid driver’s license at the time of hire.SELECTION : This position requires an applicant to successfully complete an interview which will include a writing exercise. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the interview and writing exercise, will be selected.Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:

Previous work experience in the Hotel/Real Estate industry.

Previous work experience in project management.

Previous work experience using Microsoft Office.
