Warehouse & Maintenance Assistant

Imperial Ice is now hiring Forklift Drivers, Material Handlers, Loaders, Stackers, and a Repair person.

Ideal candidates must have prior warehouse experience, select roles will require prior equipment operation in a fast-pace environment.

Hours/Pay Rate:

4 up to 7 days a Week.

Day shifts Only.

$10.25 to $15.25 per hour based on position and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for stacking, wrapping, and putting pallets of ice into the Freezer.

Loading and Unloading Trucks.

Maintaining a clean warehouse.

Preparing for upcoming Events.

Notify Supervisor of any issues with machines, product quality, and forklift issues.

Monitor the replenishment of racks, pallets, bags, and other areas where needed.

Job Requirements:

Prior warehouse experience required.

Equipment operations- Drive a Stand-up forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, and Manual Pallet Jack.

Must be able to maintain production levels that meet the minimum standards.

Ability to operate all equipment in a safe manner following safety guideline established by OSHA and the facility.

Able to stay on task with minimal supervision.

Detail oriented with high sense of urgency and positive attitude.

Adapt to other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Able to bend over and pick up 30 pounds, hundreds of times a day.

A Plus:

Able to speak some Spanish.

Able to use a drill, hammer, tape measure, spray paint, saw.

A construction background.

Forklift license.

MUST HAVE:

A vehicle to get to and from work. We do NOT provide transportation.

A good work ethic.

A good attendance.

NO felonies.
