Online auction operator

We are looking for an addition to our team to help run our online auctions. If you are comfortable with computers then no additional experience is necessary. By the way, this job is ideal for a gamer who doesn’t mind sitting in front of the computer for long periods. It’s also very possible you will work from home

Responsibilities:

+ Maintaining normality in pace, ensuring that the current bid is the same across multiple auction platforms and adjusting accordingly

+ Sitting & Focusing by yourself without breaks for extended periods of time. Average Auction Time is 6-10 Hours per day

+ Communicating clearly and checking in regularly with offsite BK Auctions Staff

+ Screening/calling/approving bidders before and regularly during events

+ Answering simple questions from bidders regarding items, auction house rules, and procedures

Position Requirements:

+ Strong comfort with technology and touch typing

+ A keen eye and ability to focus

+ Reliability, dedication and common sense

+ A strong will, comfortable working long hours with minimal breaks

+ The ability to work well under pressure and a time-sensitive environment.

+ A self-starting attitude and able to work efficiently with little to no supervision

+ Familiarity with Windows, Google Chrome and other online applications

+ An upbeat, pleasant, and professional phone personality

Experience:

None required just the right attitude and availability

Frequency:

Full time (32-40 Hours per Week): Work would be 3-5 Days per week consisting of every Friday-Sunday and alternating days somewhat flexible between the remaining days of the week.

Part Time (16-24 Hours per Week): Would need to be able to work Saturday & Sunday and if the applicant is interested there could be other more flexible days available as well.

Normal Shifts will be between 6:45am and 7pm however there may be situations where the schedule needs to be changed.

Training:

Each clerk will undergo auction console training to assure that they are capable and prepared to execute all facets of the live auction process
