MARKET CHEF

Stonehorse Market, a locally owned, neighborhood food market, delicatessen, and bakery is in search of an experienced, self-directed Sous Chef to support our evolving and growing food market. A qualified candidate will have the skills to plan and develop weekly and daily production of fresh pasta, salads, soups, ready to eat meals, and grab and go items.

Stonehorse Café and Market is an education-focused, professional kitchen with fresh ingredients in a small, fast-paced environment. As a family-owned business, we take pride in every aspect of our daily business and serving our customers.

Experience required

Weekly and daily production of from-scratch meals, fresh pasta, salads, soups, and grab and go items

Innovate new market items

Strong communication skills to work in collaboration with Stonehorse Market & Cafe teams

Leadership skills in directing staff in the production of a “from scratch daily” items

Training/experience in classic French technique with strong knife skills, butchering, and fish mongering
