Business Development Lead

A unique sales and marketing role. Enjoy driving our growth in commercial mitigation/restoration; or expand our forensic structural engineering investigation services or both! We have two companies, common ownership. Growth for both businesses can occur synergistically or independently, depending on how opportunities present themselves or pursued. Both are big growth areas, helping property owners navigate loss & damage typically brought on by severe weather events, fires, earthquakes, construction defects, accidents, lawsuits, or soil erosion. Between our relatively two small firms, TSA & CIMA are licensed in over 29 states, and based in north DFW for 18 years.

If you are confident and experienced in presenting and negotiating with Business Owners, CEO, CFO, Attorney’s, Property Owner’s, Property Managers, Facility Engineers, Church leadership, and other key decision makers, and hold 6+ years’ experience in business development in commercial restoration, structural engineering investigation, or costing services you could be the right fit and highly successful in this key role. If you previously owned your own commercial GC business, commercial restoration/remodeling/roofing or structural engineering firm, architect, PA firm, or proven sales in construction & insurance related you may be well suited to thrive in this opportunity. An RRC would be a plus. As BDL you will be responsible for building meaningful business relationships, by identifying and growing new business with good client relationships. As development lead, it is beneficial to be active and knowledgeable with most social media platforms, including blogs. You will maintain an active role, providing information and coordination throughout a project. This role works primarily by phone within our office, with occasional travel to show or client.

To be highly successful in this career opportunity the person must be highly driven to succeed and hold a can-do attitude throughout an array of circumstances. Must work well both independently and with internal/external team members. Utilize a keen awareness in identifying and acting timely on true business opportunities. Construction and building knowledge a plus. A 4-year college degree in business, engineering, architecture or construction would be favorable.
