Mobility Technician

Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care team in their patient mobilization goals.
The mobilization goals may include assisting patients in : ambulating; standing; positioning.
The mobilization of patients will occur under the direction of nursing and physical therapy teams. All mobilization encounters will be documented in EPIC charting software.
Must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and teams.
Must have excellent computer skills to complete patient encounter documentation.
Must be physically able to assist a patient to the standing position and safely use assistive devices. (i.e. lifts, slide boards, walkers, canes).

Education :
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid CPR / AED card required (BLS card preferred).
Certification or License in a patient care field preferred.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Minimum 1 year patient contact experience required.
Experience documenting into a patient chart required (EPIC software preferred).
