LJ's Handyman Services is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The right candidate will be highly skilled and motivated. We are a locally owned company right here in Bellingham, WA. Carpenter:

Responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, installing structures, finishing surfaces, repairing or replacing damaged structures, communicating with clients, ensuring safety regulations are followed, maintaining tools and equipment, providing guidance to apprentices, and continuously learning new techniques and technologies in the carpentry field. The right candidate will be able to work independently, be highly skilled, and motivated.

Requirements:

Physical fitness: Able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds, able to stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions Basic skills in reading, writing, and math to understand safety instructions, follow basic directions, and complete basic paperwork. Communication skills: able to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Flexibility to work different shifts or weekends. Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Attention to detail. Valid driver's license. Minimum 2 years working in the field.
