Education and Outreach Specialist I/II

The Humboldt Waste Management Authority (HWMA) is soliciting applications for the Position of Education and Outreach Specialist I/II. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with administrative, planning, graphic design and education and outreach responsibilities. The Education and Outreach Analyst I/II administers and monitors HWMA outreach programs and the development and dissemination of education

Minimum qualifications for potential candidates include: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.

Knowledge of:

Proficient use of social media platforms and web content management programs such as WordPress and Google Analytics.

Public information methods and practices.

Advertising and marketing techniques

Principles of design, production, branding, commercial and other printing processes.

Experience & Education:

A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic communications or a related field or;

Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required

Must have valid California drivers’ license.

Wage range is $52,649 to $70,640 per year.
