JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for maintaining plant functions. Review
and create reports for quality data. Primary contact for technical
support. Expert understanding of programmable logic controller system at
manufacturing locations to improve product efficiencies. Study methods
to improve quality of foods such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional
value, convenience, or physical, chemical, and microbiological
composition of foods. Conduct research including new product and
ingredient research for the development of foods. Develop new and
improved methods and systems for food processing, production, quality
control and packaging. Work closely with customers both internal and
external to satisfy project needs from a conceptual phase through
commercialization and troubleshooting. Responsible for formulation,
optimization, concept to commercialization, and executing internal
processes. Primary technical support for raw material and ingredient
contingency. Develop and mentor junior scientists with formulation
support and overall development. Advise accounting team regarding
formulation pricing. Coordinate with sales/culinary representatives
during customer calls through presentations both technical and culinary
based. Work with cross functional groups to optimize the strengths of
Kerry and deliver the best Taste and Nutrition experience for our
customers. Develop and protect Intellectual Property by documenting
research notes. Employ efficient time management skills & manage project
timelines to meet customer needs. Work directly with customers to solve
technical issues that may arise. Option to work fully remote. Apply via

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have employment experience with (1) Developing
formulas in food chemistry & ingredient functionality/interactions to
complete research for customer projects. (2) Utilizing SAP tools to
pulling quality trending reports, scheduling data and adjusting recipe
procedure. (3) Sensory evaluation of products to complete research for
customer projects. (4) Drafting product development process flows such
as bench development, pilot plant and manufacturing. (5) Employing HACCP
and CCP requirements for food safety and regulation to ensure food
