DescriptionWe are currently offering remote work from one of our footprint states which are inclusive of AK, WA, OR, MT, CA and or TXProvidence is seeking a Clinical Informatics Senior Program Manager - Nursing and Clinical Technology :The CI Sr. Program Manger is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and executing various projects beneath a common objective supporting a program(s) to ensure that the projects all align effectively with Providence's mission and meet the business goals for the program(s). This position will work collaboratively with business/facility operational leadership, intake and governance teams, as well as CI groups required to deploy CI services, while working independently at an enterprise level to ensure CI leadership team strategic direction is achieved. The CI Sr. Program Manager is accountable for working with and facilitating processes to accomplish complex program objectives, managing change, and resolving issues by planning, organizing, and directing activities to improve PSJH efficiencies, in a cost-effective and productive manner while building long-term goals for the program(s) to achieve customer satisfaction. This position relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals on complex issue where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. To ensure success of their program, the CI Sr. Program Manager will create an evaluation method to properly review and assess the strengths of their program(s) and to determine areas of improvement.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Alignment:

Develops projects within the program(s) in alignment with the organization's strategic plans and objectives.

Influences decisions in partnership with program leadership, building support in order to ensure work toward common objectives.

Manages work to plan, implement and optimize clinical program(s), including ongoing quality and process improvement within areas of responsibility.

Participates in developing, implementing and maintaining system wide standards and guidelines for areas of responsibility.

Demonstrates leadership, collaboration, critical thinking and teamwork in addressing decisions and resolving issues.

Management and Leadership:

Proactively and independently manages expectations for timelines and deliverables throughout the program lifecycle.

Manages portfolio programs of high complexity, strategic priority and/or visibility based on system or division(s) priority.

Responsible for scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolution or mitigation plans.

Serve as a subject matter expert for all aspects of the program.

Acts as a change agent working with physicians and/or nursing and clinical leadership teams in the identification, development, planning, implementation, and value measurement of overall informatics strategies to support quality patient care and professional practice in area of responsibility adhering to system standards.

Collaborates to identify educational opportunities and ensures clear and adequate communication of team activities and use of standardized educational materials.

Operations:

Serves as a change agent within scope across the PSJH. Serves as a positive role model for encouraging others to embrace operational changes associated with the EHR implementation and optimization efforts.

Manages projects as assigned with attention to detail, expected outcomes, and timelines.

Manages stakeholder communication including program(s) status, goals, and metrics.

Aligns the deliverables to the program(s)'s output in relationship to business needs.

Maintains program(s) documents such as charters, standard work, standardized templates, SharePoint sites as necessary based on the program(s).

Be innovative in resolving problems and issues with supervisory guidance.

Standards of Performance:

Actively supports and incorporates the mission and core values of PSJH in daily activities and interactions with all others.

Maintains confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, caregivers, and as appropriate, other information as required by Federal, State, and Company compliance policies.

Ensures compliance in self and team with mandatory system training and education efforts.

Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principles of safety and infection control into daily activities as appropriate.

Customer Service:

Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in the program or assigned resources for specific needs/tasks.

Advocates for and supports a collaborative and just work environment that maintains and augments caregiver engagement and satisfaction with a career at PSJH.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development of teams.

Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.

Proactively approaches responsibilities.

Demonstrate customer service skills.

Strong program and project management skills; ability to define and lead process improvement projects in a cross-functional setting.

Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office tools.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical, Informatics, Public Health Administration, Healthcare Administration, Business or other related healthcare field Or equivalent educ/experience.

8 years of Related experience.

6 years of Leadership experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree in Clinical Or equivalent educ/experience.

Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manger’s discretion).

3 years Demonstrated ability to create and successfully execute strategic plans for highly complex issues, specifically for the adoption of clinical technology.

3 years Experienced in all areas of program and project management including multiple project integration and process/workflow redesign.
