Job Summary:

The Ramada by Wyndham Santa Barbara off Turnpike Road is seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our team as a Breakfast Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a delightful breakfast experience for our guests by setting up the buffet continental breakfast, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and organize the buffet continental breakfast according to established standards and guidelines.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, including cleaning tables, chairs, and other surfaces as needed.

- Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and provide information about the breakfast offerings.

- Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the menu, hotel amenities, and local attractions.

- Replenish food and beverage items on the buffet as needed, ensuring a consistent and appealing presentation.

- Monitor food levels and report any shortages to the appropriate personnel.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a smooth breakfast service.

- Assist with clearing tables and maintaining an organized and efficient dining area.

- Handle any guest concerns or special requests in a professional and courteous manner.

- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while interacting with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to create a positive guest experience.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.

- Fluency in English is required.

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule:

- Part-time position, up to 6 days a week.

- Required to work Sundays.

- Shift hours: 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, daily.
