PART TIME - 20-25 HOURS TO START

MUST LIVE WITHIN 10 MILES FROM LOCATION - CATTLEMEN/BEE RIDGE SARASOTA AREA

MUST BE OK NOT STARTING UNTIL WEEK OF FEBRUARY 5TH (OR POSSIBLY 2/12 WEEK), 2024

TECHY Sarasota is looking for someone to help us help our customers with their technology in both repairs, troubleshooting software, and/or retail needs. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please continue to read the job description and look forward to hearing from you.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a technician requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication, and familiarity with technical tools. Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects, deliver work efforts that meet the highest quality standards, and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service at all times

Understand and demonstrate knowledge of repairs in the areas of 'all things' electronics

o mobile phones (all brands), computers (both hardware and software troubleshooting), gaming consoles, smart watches, drones, audio/visual, etc

Checks, adjusts, fits, and modifies parts for repair and replacement.

o Be comfortable executing digitizer repairs, LCD repairs, computer repairs, tablet repairs, and other electronic devices, etc.

Commitment to customer and business focus in areas such as quality of work, attendance and productivity.

Follow all company policies and procedures

Complete all tasks assigned

Handle customer repairs in a timely manner

Make sure phone call system is constantly updated throughout the day with specific notes for each customer and situation

Update our internal tracking software with extensive detail throughout the process of a repair so that any employee may look up the customer and know exactly what was done and how long it took to complete

Effectively communicate the repair process and updates to customers

Demonstrate a high level of motivation

Be confident and able to multi-task when working alone in the store at certain times

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Respect company and customer property

Be prepared to handle unsatisfied customers and treat the situation with professionalism until a manager can resolve the issue

Skills:

Must have aptitude to learn and continue to build skills through training

Develops and encourages original, creative and successful approaches to issues; continually improves processes; takes smart risks

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Previous work experience with references

Good understanding of technology

Strong troubleshooting skills

Reliable

Hour flexibility to help manage the growing business if/when needed
