Worship Coordinator

Worship Coordinator:

Part Time – 15 hrs/wk

Position Duties:

1) Lead worship during Sunday Morning Worship Services and various special services during the year (ie. Christmas Eve, Special Lenten services etc…)

2) Lead and recruit from the congregation musicians and vocalists to maintain a worship team, and recruit individuals for special music occasionally during worship.

3) Rehearse with Worship Team (singers and instrumentalists)

4) Plan with the Pastor the music portions of worship and coordinate with the Accompanists and Choir Director

5) Prepare Power Point slides for Sunday Worship

6) Manage copyright and licensing documentation

7) Attend twice monthly staff meeting.

Qualifications

1: General knowledge of Church Music including familiarity with contemporary music and classic hymnody

2: Experience playing with and leading Worship Teams

3. Ability to play a musical instrument (Preferred)
