Description Robert Half is looking for an extraordinary Financial Analyst to join a dynamic firm. This Financial Analyst position includes tasks like measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans and conducting financial modeling on a variety of financial products. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. You will be a part of a dynamic team being a key business partner in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. In this Financial Analyst position, you will be responsible for supporting world class strategic and financial planning methods, building long-range operating plans to support business imperatives and developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources every quarter are consumed at maximum effectiveness. Along with your main responsibilities, you will assist with operationalizing and cultivating a more data-driven planning process and improved monthly and quarterly reporting. In this role, you will be directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will provide variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r

Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

Execute and monitor forecasting reports

Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting

Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed

Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks

Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization Requirements - Sound written and verbal communication skills

2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system

BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

Solid understanding of Analyze Financial Statements

Experience with Accounting Principles

Command of Complex Financial Analysis

Valuation Analysis experience preferred

Proficiency in Develop Financial Models

Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferential)

Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
