Description We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Superintendent, servicing the Board, overseeing the planning, preparation, control, billing, and administration of our annual budgets. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and coordination.Key Responsibilities:

The School Business Administrator is responsible for directing the overall business management of the organization. This role supports the Superintendent and services the Board of Directors.

Administration of a comprehensive accounting system to classify financial activities in alignment with annual budgets.

Ensure compliance with state requirements by overseeing the completion of yearly audits.

Develop and supervise a skilled staff to manage the business affairs of the organization.

Prescribe systems, procedures, and forms for financial accounting, including timely investment programs.

Prepare bids, specifications, advertising contracts, and other documents for equipment and supply purchases.

Implement and develop specifications, contracts, delivery, billing, and supervision of cooperative purchasing and transportation programs.

Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and financial obligations, ensuring alignment with budget allocations.

Conduct audits of all accounts, records, ledgers, etc., to maintain accurate financial transactions.

Supervise the preparation of monthly reports on all receipts and expenditures for submission to the Board of Directors.

Educational Industry is required.

Pursuance or completion of NJ School Business Administrator Certificate is highly preferred.

Bachelors degree is highly preferred.

5-7yrs+ experience in Sr. level support

Proven experience in financial management and administration.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
