Parts/Service Writer for Heavy Duty Diesel Repair Shop

Responsibilities

-answer phones

-order truck parts

-perform over the counter parts sales

-manage service technicians and their duties

-inventory, ordering, and pricing responsibilities

Our Parts/Service Writers are expected to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and staff, as well as maintain a safe and clean work area.

Ability to work with minimal supervision required.

Hours of operation M-F 7am-8pm, Sat 8am-5pm. This opening is for a shift of 10am to 8pm M-F and every other Saturday.

Small Company and willing to work with employee on hours.

Necessary Requirements:

-Must possess a valid driver's license.

-Must have computer skills.

-Purchasing experience, a bonus

-Previous parts experience preferred

-Customer service skills required

Pay and Benefits

This is a full time position 40hr/week with overtime. Benefits: health, dental, vision, retirement, paid holidays ands vacation.

We are a drug free work environment.

We are a small team serving mostly the local truckers.

We do not have over the road service or towing.

4 bay shop located on E Route 66.
