Quality Assurance Supervisor

Description:

The quality assurance supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved with the inspection and quality control SOPs with regard to purchased material, in-process materials, and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved.

3-5 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing setting preferred.

2nd shift position, hours depend on the production schedule. This role can be worked in 4 10's schedule

Skills:

HACCP and PCQI certifications required

GMP

Quality assurance and Quality control

FSQA

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Develop and adapt inspection equipment

Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult leadership and take corrective action

Identify, research and resolve customer issues

Coordinate with other supervisors to arrange activities of individual departments

Professional verbal and written communication

Knowledge of quality control methods, techniques, and equipment

Food industry experience preferred
