Assembler

Description:

Assemble and test servo motors. Use hand and power tools. Follow manufacturing test procedures while implementing continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.

Contractors will place parts in specified relationship to each other either as a sub assembly or final assembly. They will use soldering, clips, or screws to fasten all parts together. They will follow blueprints or schematics and use hand/power tools to accomplish tasks.

May be required to solder, hand braze or induction braze.

Contractor will rotate to different work stations as production needs require. May help pack products into individual boxes and cases and place on skids.

They will be responsible for inspecting and gauging finished parts, making tooling adjustments, and handling/moving supplies and materials. They will be responsible for verifying outside labels and unit labels are the same for all packet parts.

They will clean equipment and work areas by performing daily/weekly safety checks of equipment

Electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience

Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings

Knowledge of machine tool operations

Operation of production tooling and fixtures.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Stand throughout the duration of shift, bend, twist, and reach

Must be able to read, understand, and speak English
