Full Stack Developer - Mid

Your Impact:The Jacobs team is looking for a Full Stack Developer - Mid to work a hybrid position onsite at their customer’s Crystal City, VA location.The Full Stack Developer Mid position is a part of a team charged with maintaining and modernizing two mission critical applications hosted in AWS GovCloud. The team utilizes Agile, delivering in 2-week sprints, tracked in Jira with documentation in Confluence. The code base is fully cloud-based and CI/CD automated using Gitlab.We are looking for a full stack developer with experience in both monolithic and modern application architectures (And preferably experience migrating from monolithic to modern). If you have a background in our stack (Java, JavaScript, Spring, Tomcat, Oracle, Solr/ZK), are interested in learning new approaches (containerization, micro services, Lambda, and more), open to learning or already experienced in UI/UX frameworks such as Angular/ExtJS, then we’d want to hear from you!As a mid-level position, we would expect you to complete work with minimal guidance fulfilling requirements in concert with the team’s agreed upon approach. Our teams are collaborative as long as each team member is putting in the effort to learn and taking ownership of their own tasks.This position is a hybrid position with two days onsite at our customer’s location in Crystal City and allows for 3 days a week of remote work. Additional onsite days are only required based on mission need.Here's What You'll Need:Here’s What You’ll Need:

4 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).

Experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.

Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability

Create or update documentation for troubleshooting and SOPs

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline

Must have an active Top Secret Clearance and be SCI Eligible

Preferred:

Java Development

EXTJS experience (or Angular, or other MVC/MVVM development experience)

JavaScript and/or NodeJS

Experience dealing with complex workflows

Able to work well within a collaborative development team

Experience developing in the cloud (AWS specifically)

Experience with Agile Development (Jira and Confluence a plus)

Experience with Gitlab and CI/CD

Experience with relational and no-sql data storage (Oracle is a plus, SOLR or OpenSearch is a plus)

Experience with HTTP/App servers (Tomcat is a plus)

Experience with Linux based servers

Experience with authentication and encryption (SAML/IDP or SSL is a plus)
