COMMISSARY DELIVERY DRIVER NEEDED!

Blue Oak BBQ is a high-volume local BBQ restaurant that does a lot of catering business- many of which require deliveries to our customers. Meat Catering LLC is a commissary kitchen, supplying high-quality food products to Blue Oak BBQ and other restaurant/bar clients in New Orleans.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. You will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of our products to our customers. You will represent our company with professionalism and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport food and beverage products to customer locations in a timely manner

-Load and unload products, ensuring they are handled with care to maintain quality

-Verify and double-check delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness

-Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have

-Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

-Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and maintain a clean driving record

-Assist with routine vehicle maintenance scheduling and inspections, reporting any issues or repairs needed

-Collaborate with restaurant and commissary team leaders to coordinate deliveries and resolve any delivery-related issues

-Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel, and delivery documentation

Qualifications:

-Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for the past 3 years

-Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

-Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred

-Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and carrying heavy boxes or containers

-Strong attention to detail and ability to verify delivery orders accurately

-Excellent communication and customer service skills

-Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

-Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required

-Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures
