Join us and be a part of something special!Job DescriptionOmni Tempe Hotel at ASUis seeking anOn Call Banquet Server to join the team of our brand-new upscale hotel. Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU provides Tempe with 330 guest rooms, 36,000 square feet of event space, and four new food and beverage outlets. Featuring a rooftop upscale restaurant and the largest ballroom in the area, we expect to provide elevated options for our guests for dining and entertainment.Responsibilities

Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Managers.

Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.

Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.

Report to the Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.

Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.

Attend all designated pre-meal meetings.

Follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s).

Qualifications

Previous serving experience in a 4-diamond hotel/resort.

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for the duration of a full shift.

Must be TIPS and Food Handlers Certification.

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.

Must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and create excellent customer service experience.
