Looking for a Medical Biller

A growing Allergy practice with 2 locations (Murphy and Plano) is seeking a full-time/part-time Biller with some help at the front desk occasionally.

Familiarity with the entire billing cycle is essential. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following billing related activities.

- Verifying ICD 10 and CPT codes

- File claims with insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims

- Filing insurance appeals

- Posting of insurance payments

- Create patient statements for their portions and mail them out regularly.

- Following up with patients on their balances

- Answering patient questions related to billing issues

-Attending at the front desk 1-2 days a week

Following are requirements to be considered for an interview -

- Candidate must have at least 2 years experience in billing .

- EMR experience is required.

Experience with E-Clinical Works/ Allergy practice is a plus.
