Description We have a pressing need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to supervise cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. If you're a Full Charge Bookkeeper residing in the Buena Park, California area, we have a Robert Half client who has a permanent position available. Develop monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation

Catalog budget transfers

Report business license and gross receipts

Direct Accounts Receivable

File cash flow projections, as needed

Keep Accounts Payable up to date

Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Secondary assignment when necessary

Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Guide monthly accounting close

Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Collections experience preferred

Full charge bookkeeping experience desired

Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience highly desired

Full Cycle Payroll experience

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Highly organized and self-motivated

Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

Self-starter and strong ethical standards

Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
