Position Overview:

As a Warehouse Technician at Environments Plus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.

Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure proper labeling and organization of products within the warehouse.

Coordinate with the procurement team to restock inventory as needed.

Shipping and Receiving:

Receive incoming shipments and verify their accuracy.

Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.

Collaborate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule and track deliveries.

Inspect and report any damaged or missing items.

Warehouse Organization:

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.

Arrange and optimize storage to maximize efficiency.

Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inventory movements and transactions.

Generate reports on inventory levels, shipping, and receiving activities.

Communicate any inventory shortages or discrepancies to the management team.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous warehouse experience with a focus on inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

Proficient with inventory management software and basic computer skills.

Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
