Mechanical / Pipe Insulators Needed ASAP

Mechanical / Pipe Insulators needed ASAP for contract position in Eagle Mountain, UT. Great opportunity for immediate work!

Shifts will be 8-hour days (Monday-Friday)

Pay is $20-$24+/hr. and based upon experience

This is a 6-week contract position

Mechanical / Pipe Insulator Job Description:

Install insulation and jacketing on roof pipes and valves

Cut, fit, and install insulation and insulation system components such as lagging and banding

Fabricate, install, and maintain various insulation systems on heavy industrial refrigeration equipment

Fabricate or modify prefabricated insulation kits for special purposes such as valves, pipe fittings, and rotating equipment

Fabricate or alter blankets, shape/form foam, and cut/form sheet metal jackets to conform with drawings and specifications

Safely use hand/power tools and equipment such as bending brakes, band saws, and/or banding tools

Requirements for Mechanical / Pipe Insulators:

Must have at least 6 months of construction experience

Must have experience in pipe jacketing and/or insulating pipe

Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE

Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Must have PPE including steel toe work boots

Must be able and willing to follow written and verbal job-site instructions

Additional Requirements for Mechanical / Pipe Insulators:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site
