DISPATCHER / SHIPPING COORDINATOR

DISPATCHER / SHIPPING COORDINATOR: Full time, weekdays 6:00am to 4:00pm daily. Job consists of assigning shipping orders to drivers and vehicles, tracking deliveries via computer GPS, and verifying orders upon completion, along with other duties connected to getting orders shipped and delivered in a timely and professional manner. Must be able to communicate clearly with drivers and customers delivery instructions and handle issues that may arrise.

We are a full-line lumber and building materials company with a fleet of six trucks and cover an area within 50 miles of Savannah. Deliveries will go to new housing job sites and existing homes and businesses. A good knowledge of the area is a plus.
