Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Tool Coordinator (Level 3) to join our 737 Tool Services team in Renton , Washington !The Tool Coordinator position will facilitate the acquisition of commodities authorized by manufacturing using procurement systems and processes. They will identify and recommend appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process requirements. It will require a review of delivery and receiving status to meet manufacturing requirements and the ability to satisfy requirements for non-production materials, portable tools (capital/expense), perishable tools, and shop for supplies in support of manufacturing.This position will facilitate the acquisition of commodities authorized by manufacturing using procurement systems and processes. The successful candidate will identify and recommend appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process needs. Assesses manufacturing requirements and verifies customer requests.

Coordinates with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.

Works with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.

Provides guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts.

Participates in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state of the art cost-effective products.

Gathers manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements.

Investigates changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests.

Analyzes, procures and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services.

Explores all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules.

Supports the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications.

Participates in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products.

Reviews on-hand inventory and coordinates re-distribution.

Participates in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory.

Works under limited supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee .Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)

3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control

3+ years of experience working with powered hand tools

3+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in CRIBMASTER and/or processes related to managing Tool Cribs and systems analysis

1+ years data analytics experience (using Excel formulas and functions)

Typical Education/Experience:Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
