Will also fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.Shift Availability: Preference for weekend and evening availabilitySupervisory Responsibilities:None.Duties/Responsibilities:Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies leadership of any shipping or receiving issues.Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.Assists with periodic inventory audits.Operates forklift truck and other industrial machinery.Maintains an accurate running inventory.Restocks supplies and inventory.Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system.Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.Records, reports, and returns defective items.Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to departments for payment and record keeping.Performs other related duties as requested.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent communication skills.Basic understanding of inventory control procedures and systems.Proficient keyboarding skills.Excellent time management skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.Ability to perform basic math calculations.Preferred Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with computerized inventory systems required.Forklift operator certification preferred.Food Handler or Food Manager certifiedPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that mayrequire hours of lifting, standing, walking, reaching, and carrying.
