Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior System Design and Cloud Integration Specialist that will be supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization in Englewood, CO .A successful candidate is an experienced Cloud Administrator with extensive Agile experience. The selected candidates responsibilities will include the support, maintenance and provision Jeppesen/Boeing and customer facing infrastructure services for multiple applications and products. The candidate should have advanced trouble shooting skills and solid experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Directory Network Services (DNS), Networking, Virtual Machine (VM)ware, Citrix products, and Windows operating systems both server and desktop to support needs of the business and multiple infrastructures.Position Responsibilities:

Leads the creation of infrastructure services for multiple products, applications, and core computing systems

Contributes to architecture and data/information management standards and strategies

Applies new or cloud services to fit the needs of the business and infrastructure architecture within the overall enterprise and escalates issues or concerns that affect enterprise architecture services

Supports technology from leading cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) understanding and utilizing their unique native services in deployments

Engages with members of highly-collaborative cross functional globally distributed teams on troubleshooting issues, providing insights for automation and influencing architectural decisions

Develops and maintains a resilient, secure, and efficient cloud-hosted platform to meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while supporting the rollout of new software releases and maintenance updates

Coordinates with Cloud Engineering team members and other stakeholders to build, monitor, and maintain a secure cloud-hosted infrastructure via automation in both production and non-production environment

Designs Native Cloud Application Architectures and optimize applications for AWS

Plays a key role in migrating and transforming legacy solutions to the cloud

Manages cloud cost, security, and compliance

Assists project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases using our standard JIRA Project Management Methodology

Assists with the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research and development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and requirements gathering; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions

Supports the systems that include provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and development to ensure continual innovation

Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure

Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Business Partners

Assists project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology

Supports the needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research and development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions

Focuses on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle

Applies appropriate estimating techniques to determine the level of effort and financial investment required for the technical implementation of the tools or new solutions

Formulates Cloud architectures for business solutions ranging from independent to complex systems

Explores new technologies and product opportunities that could be used to generate competitive advantage

Creates technology roadmaps for the domain solution portfolio

Identifies technology trends and evaluates their impact on the domain solution portfolio

Partners with the development team to work in DevOps deployment of architected solutions

Supports as needed or be the escalation point to resolve complex internal or customer issues as required

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.E mployer willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience working with Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby

1+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps)

1+ years of experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure

Willing to work a variable shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience as a Cloud Administrator

Experience with Windows Group Policy and Citrix Policy administration

Experience with Citrix Storefront and NetScaler is desired

Experience with all versions of Microsoft Windows Server

Experience with VMware and virtual machine migrations and server deployment

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
