This vital role plays a key part in ensuring the financial health and success of our veterinary hospital. You will be responsible for the entire budget process, from preparation and control to analysis and reporting. You will be a financial detective, uncovering trends, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insightful reports to guide informed decision-making. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor the veterinary hospital's budget, ensuring alignment with overall LVMC goals.

Analyze revenue and expense data, identifying and explaining variances from the budget.

Conduct regular comparisons of actual performance against budgeted forecasts, providing timely insights.

Prepare comprehensive management reports that translate financial data into actionable information for hospital leadership.

Recommend strategies to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and controls.

Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and industry trends.

Example of Duties Compiles and reviews the budgets for departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income. Maintains accurate spending records and establishes measures for budgetary control. Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of a support, production or operations team. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
