Position Title: Seasonal Special Events Coordinator

Organization: Bellingham Bells

Location: Bellingham, WA

Job Summary:

The Bellingham Bells are seeking a dedicated Seasonal Special Events Coordinator to spearhead the planning and execution of major special events and projects in collaboration with the front office team. The ideal candidate will possess strong event planning and operational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple event deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning and execution of the 2024 West Coast League All-Star Game, collaborating closely with various stakeholders such as the West Coast League, and MLB. Serve as the primary coordinator before and during the event.

- Provide support for Bells home games, including assisting with sponsors, corporate events, and ballpark special events as required.

- Assist with organizing Bells special events, including camps, clinics, golf tournaments, and other seasonal activities.

- Assist Marketing & Operations Coordinator as needed

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience in coordinating and organizing events.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in event management, operations, or project management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based project management programs, and general computer literacy.

Compensation:

- Hourly rate: $22 - $26, commensurate with experience.

Job Type:

- Seasonal position, approximately 32 - 40 hours per week.

- Duration: Approximately April 1, 2024 – August 31, 2024.
