We are looking for a thorough full time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by following management’s instruction. The goal is to maintain the buildings, units and common areas in the best possible condition. Must be able to pass background check, and pass drug test.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair mechanical systems
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels
Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Maintain and service HVAC systems
Maintain and service plumbing needs for units
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Installation of appliances (dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves)
Helping maintain the pool (skimming, chemical readings)
Deep cleaning of unit for new move-ins
Completing resident’s work orders in a timely manner.
After hours’ maintenance emergencies & on-call rotation
Basic maintenance around the property and within units
Skills
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to learn
Can follow directive given by Management with a can-do attitude
Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Hours include but will not be limited to 30 - 40 Hours a week, Monday Through Friday and on call during the weekends.
We are looking for someone with basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC knowledge, and who understand how to make an apartment ready for move in. This person must be able to handle several items and tasks daily and be able to do them in order of importance, this is a very fast pace property with a team that never stops and we are looking for someone who is willing to work just as hard and who understands that deadlines must be met within their scheduled times. Customer service is a big deal and you must understand that.
