Concierge

Overview:

We are seeking a highly personable and proactive individual to join our team as a Residential Building Concierge. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, the concierge plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and secure environment within the building. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, impeccable professionalism, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Greet residents and visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries, requests, and directions.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages, and provide accurate information or route inquiries to the appropriate department.

Coordinate resident services such as package delivery, dry cleaning, and maintenance requests.

Monitor building access and security systems, ensuring the safety and privacy of residents.

Maintain a tidy and organized lobby area, including managing deliveries and overseeing common spaces.

Assist with resident events and activities, fostering a sense of community within the building.

Respond promptly to emergencies or security incidents, following established protocols and procedures.

Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to address resident concerns and resolve issues effectively.

Stay informed about building amenities, local attractions, and community resources to provide helpful recommendations to residents and visitors.

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with basic computer applications and office equipment.

Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures is a plus.

Must pass criminal background check.

Proficiency in English verbal and written.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Part- Time Weekends 32 hours every 2 weeks

7 am-3pm

3pm-11pm

11pm-7am

Full Time:

7am - 3pm

Hourly rate: $16 an hour
