JOB SUMMARY: This role is primarily responsible for managing the procurement requisition process before bidding/contracting and managing consumer-facing system setup and maintenance from model start to end of each community.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather inputs (plans, specs, reports, etc.) for the Sourcing Team to estimate budgets during feasibility analysis of potential land purchases.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Design to ensure that plans, specs, and options are in alignment with target consumer groups.

Gather and post the requisition package of bid documents to the company website and conduct a handoff meeting with the Sourcing Team before the bidding start of new communities.

Work with the West Procurement Services team to perform community set-up in business systems.

Coordinate and monitor Rebate Tracking Systems and Energy Programs in conjunction with the Sourcing Team and Home Office.

Assist in the configuration of model home contenting and sales office bid proposals.

Train and support Sales, Construction, and Design Center teams on new products and services.

Audit option descriptions and budgets after contracting is complete and before sales begin.

Team up with Marketing to ensure the accuracy of collateral to be shared with prospective buyers.

Educate the Sales team and other departments about the features and benefits of the new community.

Collaborate with Home Office and West Divisions to review and innovate product offerings (plumbing fixtures, door hardware, lighting, flooring, etc.) to ensure that styles are on-trend and readily available.

Manage internal customer relationships and assist in resolving issues by effectively communicating throughout the organization.

Collaborate with Sales to actively review option performance and adjust strategy as needed.

Manage product change request process (changes to plans, specs, options, etc.).

Manage process improvement efforts and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Maintain community-related documents on the company website (plans, specs, options, reports, etc.).

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent.

Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills.

Evaluates employee’s performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance.

Provides developmental opportunities through the identification of internal and external training opportunities.

Creates opportunities for employee growth.

Provide continuous coaching regarding technical skills, behaviors, and leadership.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Minimum 5 years related functional experience.

Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and/or other virtual communication platforms.

Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate, adjust and conform with varying schedules, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks, problem solve, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Strong organizational skills for self and team.

Ability to develop and improve both internal and external relationships.

Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment.

Project management skills related to managing deadlines and multiple projects.

COMPENSATION RANGE

$111,000 - $138,700 per year
