Then come join us! Job DescriptionTrek Bicycle is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer with manual and automation testing experience with mobile, API and web applications. Candidates will have excellent communications skills, excellent attention to detail, experience with agile methodology, and a solid grasp of test case management, defect tracking, API testing, web testing, and mobile testing tools.Trek IT believes in crafted software, in end-to-end ownership of products, in fast iterations, and provides a flexible work environment. Partner closely with team members to ensure understanding of the acceptance criteria
Write and maintain manual/automation test scenarios
Execute those test scenarios
Identify and clearly document defects
Be self-organized, self-motivated and require minimal supervision
Be flexible with workload and deadlines
Be familiar with agile development methodology and their respective ceremonies
Collaborate with the QA Automation team members to produce/refine automation scripts
Be a fast learner and will recognize the need to escalate issues
Participate in release verification
Refine our quality standards and processes
Produce and maintain team wiki updates
Position Requirements:
CS degree and/or 4+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineer capacity
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Advanced knowledge of manual testing strategies on web, mobile and API applications
Experience testing bluetooth connected devices a plus
Experience with web automation tools (Selenium/Playwright)
Experience with mobile app automation tools (Appium a plus)
Javascript/Typescript experience a plus
Experience working with an Agile methodology
Experience with test case management and defect tracking software (Jira/Confluence a plus)
Passionate about producing amazing products
