Admin/Web/Marketing/Events Position for a San Francisco

We are interested in hiring an assistant to help with some online and offline tasks. Our company is a City Discovery website for the San Francisco Bay Area and we produce events as well. We are looking for someone local (preferably in San Francisco) who knows the Bay Area well and has experience with Wordpress websites, social media, content creation, marketing and managing events. Right now, we have more work than we can manage, so we are looking for someone to help us to get everything done and keep us organized.

Some of the basic job duties are listed below. If you are interested in the position, but don't have experience with all of the things listed, no worries! We are looking for someone who can take care of some of these tasks, so let us know what experience you have and what you are able to do.

Job Duties

Add Content to Wordpress (adding events to events calendar, posting articles)

Help with organizing content calendar

General Research for Content

Answer Customer Service emails

Post website content to social media and other distribution sites

Take photos and videos of attractions, events and businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area

Contact local business for partnerships

Hang Posters in local businesses

Help with event supplies and office organization

Help with event setup

Help with managing events and event staff

Creating Videos for Social Media and Youtube

We are interested in hiring on a short term basis for right now to see how things go, however if things work out well, we could offer flexible long-term employment.
