About the Role:We are seeking an Azure Architect to join our Federal Cloud Operations team. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting a CMMC compliant Azure enclave for an architecture and engineering firm.Key Responsibilities:

Help architect changes to Azure environment to meet operational and compliance needs

Control cloud expenditure and carry out cost-saving projects

Manage business relationships with stakeholders in other functions

Advocate for business objectives, users, and operational efficiency while balancing legal and compliance requirements

Provide leadership, coaching, and development to cloud engineers and operations support team

Develop and maintain compliant procedures

Assist administrators with work as needed

Implement CMMC requirements, based on NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-172

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years relevant and practical experience performing network architecture, design, and implementation.

Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or commensurate experience designing and implementing Azure solutions

Implementation experience with NIST 800-171 security framework or similar

Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Ability to build and execute a solution roadmap

Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience configuring Azure US Government tenant and GCC High environment, including SharePoint

Proven Leadership Experience

Implementation of CMMC

Knowledge of application management and deployment

ManageEngine Administration

Experience with federal defense contracts

CISSP or commensurate experience

Knowledge of Bentley and AutoCAD products
