Job Description:

HallKeen Management, Inc. is seeking an energetic, qualified, motivated and experienced property manager with affordable housing experience to oversee operations of a 150+ unit property consisting of both Section 236 and Section 8 affordable rentals. The candidate should possess experience with Affordable Housing (Section 8) voucher preparation, including HUD policies and procedures, LIHTC experience, TRACS transmissions, recertification process, marketing, staff supervision, budgeting, variance reporting, regulatory reporting, etc., with an emphasis on tenant relations and retention. The position is responsible for overall care and maintenance of the properties, including annual certifications, budget preparation and management of the site office, site staff, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have solid property management specializing in affordable housing and in recertification process. Candidate must have property management certification. The candidate must have strong supervisory experience, be highly organized and detail oriented, have affordable housing certification (or equivalent) and be comfortable meeting or exceeding deadlines. Candidate should be a good team member with a positive attitude.

Candidate should possess a minimum of five years industry experience and a minimum of three years as a property manager supervising staff. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent property management experience with working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, and Onesite software.
