The Virginia Beach Express Employment Professionals office, is in search of an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing Recruiting Specialist to join our team and our vision to help people !

PAY: $17.00 hr Base, PLUS Monthly Bonus plan and benefits (to include earned PTO). This position has potential to earn much more for a motivated person… If you are doing your job well, your pay will always be more than just your base pay.

SHIFT: FULL TIME, Mon – Fri 8am-5pm (You need to be able to stay later if needed, but this does not happen a lot)

Job Duties:

You will assist applicants through the application process and do phone interviews as well as other daily tasks. This is a busy position where you need to like to talk to people (applicants and clients) and be on the phone and computer most of your day.

You will use accurate data entry to keep notes and document calls as you complete them.

You need to stay focused on calling applicants to screen and schedule for interviews in our office.

You need to be comfortable sitting at a desk, on the phone and computer most of your day. (you can get up to move around during the day, but the job is on the phone and computer)

You will also be cross trained to learn the Employment Specialist position.

Help answer phones during the day.

Willingness to use social media: Comfort and familiarity with using social media platforms to attract candidates, promote job openings, and engage with potential applicants. (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc)

The primary skills REQUIRED for the position:

Need to be a strong Multi-Tasker and Very Detailed.

Strong phone, interpersonal and writing skills are an essential part of this role.

Self-discipline to stay on task all day…to be able to touch on all aspects of the job, every day.

Possess excellent customer service skills.

Must have strong organizational and time management skills.

Must have strong computer (basic MS Excel, Word, and Outlook) and data entry skills (accurately type min 40+wpm), there is a lot of computer work and documentation with this job and accuracy is key).

Able to learn new computer programs quickly.

Need a desire to help people and learn & grow (and cross train) within our company.

Reliability is very important as you will be a vital member of this team.

High School Diploma or GED required. A college degree is desired but not required.

This is an IN OFFICE job, NOT a remote position
