DRIVER 26 FOOT BOX TRUCK

Distribution Solution a Regional LTL/FTL Carrier is seeking a dependable and organized truck driver who can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Must be detailed oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

Pay Rate: $20.00 To $24.00 per hour depending on experience. Earn 1.25 hours of vacation/pto/sick time for every 40 hours worked. Medical after 90 days

After 90 days driver will be eligible for the DRIVE program which you can earn an additional $1.00-3.00 per hour . Paid out monthly.

Shift: MON-FRI Start times from 0430-0730 shifts are 8 to 10 hours overtime is available

DRIVE 4 DAYS A WEEK 10 HOURS A DAY

Equipment: Late Model 26 Foot Freightliner M2’S with lift gates

Job Duties: Do local pickups and deliveries in the Seattle Metro area from Olympia to Bellingham and all point in between

Responsibilities:

Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle

Use a pallet jack & lift gate

Forklift experience a plus

Keep paperwork organized and in good order

Insure shipment and paperwork matches

Preform pre trip before each shift

Keep dispatch/managers aware of any delays or issues

Adhere to company rules and regulations

Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions

Comply with DOT regulations

Make safety a priority at all times

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older to apply

High School diploma or Ged equivalent preferred

Valid Washington driver’s license required

2 plus years proven driving experience a plus

Must provide copy of Clean Driving Abstract

Pass a background check and DOT drug test

Skilled at driving large vehicles

Physically and mentally fit to perform the job

Disciplined, dependable and resourceful
